Te-Li Lau

Elder

Te-Li was born and raised in Singapore. He attended Stanford University and subsequently worked in Silicon Valley for ten years as a computer engineer. Although he came to faith in elementary school, it was during these years that God especially kindled Te-Li's love for Scripture and the Kingdom of God. He subsequently heeded God's call for ministry and pursued theological studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS) and Emory University. He currently serves God as a professor of New Testament at TEDS. He has been attending North Sub since 2008. Te-Li and his wife Karen have two beautiful daughters - Amelia and Anastasia. His favorite musician is Keith Jarrett, and his personal motto is found in Ezra 7:10.
