CLIFF PENCE
DEACON - WORSHIP

Cliff grew up on a farm in downstate Illinois where he was an active member of a Congregational church. He received an A.B. from Knox College and an A.M. from the University of Illinois and taught mathematics for eleven years at several colleges. After moving to the Chicago area he had a twenty-five year career as an actuary. Cliff joined North Sub in 1987, served as a deacon, and has been serving as an usher for about twenty years. Cliff enjoys traveling, history, genealogy, and following high school and college sports. Cliff met and married his wife Alice while teaching in Pennsylvania. They are blessed with a married daughter living in California.
