Susan Klint
Local Outreach Deacon
Susan grew up in a Christian home in Skokie and graduated from Olivet Nazarene University. She married her high-school sweetheart, Tage, in 2013, and the two of them started attending North Sub in the summer of 2014, when they lived in Glenview. They are now residents of Lincolnwood, where they are near both of their families and are raising three young sons. They find the extra commute to North Sub more than worth it for the wonderful church family they are privileged to be part of!
Since coming to North Sub, Susan has served on the Worship Team, Choir, and Creative Planning Committee, and has been pushed far out of her comfort zone coaching at MEGA Sports Camp. She has faithfully attended LifeGroups, taken part in Women's Ministry events as often as possible, and wishes she never had schedule conflicts with CraftWorks retreats!
Susan is passionate about the careful study and application of Scripture, being "ready at any time to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you" (1 Pet. 3:15), as well as supporting and encouraging all believers (and especially women) in their mental health journeys. In her free time Susan loves reading, quilting, finding new and wonderful dessert recipes, and trying to keep up with her super energetic sons and highly extroverted hubby.
