Camp Shalom and COVID-19

The health and safety of our campers and staff is a high priority for us at Camp Shalom. We recognize the importance of kids playing and socializing together, and simultaneously want to minimize the risk of COVID transmission. Our COVID protocols will include:

  • Masks required for campers and staff whenever indoors (except for while eating and drinking; campers will be distanced during snack if indoors)

  • Temperature checks at drop off every day

  • Contact tracing protocols in place

  • Required quarantine if campers are exposed to COVID or develop any COVID symptoms

  • Adherence with all CDC guidelines

Our goal is to run much of the camp experience outdoors. Campers will not be required to be masked while outside, but we will monitor how much "close contact" time they are having outdoors and work to minimize that, while still allowing them to play together.
