About Camp Shalom
SHALOM
Shalom is a robust Hebrew word that describes the state or "being made whole" or "being restored," and at Camp Shalom, that is our dream for your children this summer.
We know that the past year has created many social, emotional, and developmental challenges for our preschool-aged friends. Our hope is that Camp Shalom can be a space where your child can jump back into connecting with other children and adults in a meaningful way. We understand and appreciate the toll this last year has taken on families, and our hope is to come alongside you as we all seek to return to our "new normal". We believe that God designed every person- including our children- to be in community with others, and we want Camp Shalom to be a place where your child can experience the connection they were made for.
SHALOM and Your Children
At Camp Shalom, we believe that every child is created uniquely in the image of God. We celebrate who each child is, and seek to foster an environment where your child can grow into the fullest version of themselves. You can expect our staff not just to entertain your child, but to connect with him or her and create a space that is gentle, inviting, and encouraging. We hope that Camp Shalom can be a place where we can feed your child's mind and heart this summer as they flourish into who God created them to be.
What will kids do at Camp Shalom?
At camp Shalom, our main goal is to create a space for kids to do what they do best... play with other kids! Camp Shalom will offer a wide array of activities for your children: music, art, sports, water play, and more. Between themed weeks, silly games, and exciting adventures, we know your kids will be smiling all session long! Whatever campers are up to- whether it's learning a new song or learning how to play soccer- their days will be full of imagination, exploration, and growth!
