Definition: “A disciple is an intentional follower of Jesus, forever becoming more like him.”

Therefore, a disciple increasingly is characterized by the following traits:

Upward Dimension (Focus is on our relationship to God)

1) Joyfully submits to Christ

Inward Dimension (Focus is on the development of our character or competency)

2) Walks by the Spirit
3) Is grounded in Scripture
4) Prays Faithfully
5) Repents Regularly

Outward dimension (Focus in on our relationship to others)

6) Loves others
7) Extends grace
8) Serves selflessly
9) Gives generously
10) Is accountable
11) Makes disciples
